DS Ferret

Okay guys I know, I know, I suck big time. DX My buddy - and possibly the only reader of this blog - Ali’s been trying to get me to update for ages and I’ve finally got guilty enough to do it. lol

It’s not all bad news, luckily, no I haven’t updated in a while, but that meant I had time to play a bunch of new games. So in the next few days, I’ll reviewing games such as Grand Theft Auto: China town wars (which was awesome btw), and Rhythm Heaven which which is basically the English version of Rhythm Tengoku which I must have mentioned at some point in the blog. Also there are some upcoming games that I’m eager to chat about so you’ll be reading about them to.

Sweet, so that’s the agenda, you can hold me to it. Thanks for the guilt trip Ali. lol

Remember a while ago how I said I didn’t want to play Pokemon Diamond, and how I went on some huge rant about me feeling out of sync with it? Forget that! I love that game, it’s awesome. Sure have the benefit of knowing what types all the pokemon are, and what they’ll evolve into, (or if they’ll evolve at all for that matter), but to be honest, that hasn’t really been a problem for me.

My main issue comes to when I’m team building. In Pokemon Silver and Yellow, I knew my favourite pokemon before I even picked up the game. (thank you pokemon anime =3) and I’d build my team mentally, not bothering to train the creatures that didn’t matter, thus preserving valuable trainer battle exp points. But in Diamond I have no choice but to go by stats and types alone, meaning I end up training up a pokemon only to replace it later. D: Though I must say I did pick up a few familiars, like Ghastly, my favourite ghost. <3

Anyways, enough blabbering from me, yeah Pokemon Diamond = good, play it, or at least don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. Shame on me for even doing such a thing. DX

Pokemon Diamond

I’ve been trying to avoid this game for the longest time. I think the last pokemon game I played was pokemon emerald on the GB advance (Which I’m totally craving right now, btw), and since then I dropped the games completely. Why? Because I don’t get it these days. DX I hardly know any of the pokemon anymore . Now don’t get me wrong, this isn’t a rant on the Pokemon game series, I’m just sayin’ I don’t feel cool when I’m playing the pokemon games like I used to.

But enough about that. A few months ago, I tried playing Pokemon Diamond. To cut a short story shorter, I got bored after like 10 minutes, and didn’t pick it up again. I find that with the pokemon games, the first few minutes are terribly boring if you aren’t a brand new player, and with few familiar pokemon to look forward too later on in the newer games, I couldn’t be bothered to fight my way through it. ^^;

Having said that, I’ve convinced my self to play it anyway. Just so I can prove my self wrong (hopefully) and come back to DSFerret, raving about how awesome it is!

Wish me luck, I’m gonna need it to keep my patience about me. DX
